ABOUT
Helping Country Churches Thrive
Since 1948
Did you know?
Nearly 60 MILLION people live in rural areas in North America. That’s 1 in 5 Americans…or about 19% of the US population.
To put it in perspective, if rural America was gathered together and formed into a separate nation, it would be the 24th most populous country in the world – about the same as Italy!
We Rural
At Village Missions, we love rural people and places. We believe God wants people everywhere to come to know Him as their Lord and Savior.
We believe that although 81 percent of Americans live in urban areas, it is not a waste to seek to reach the 19 percent of the nation’s population who live in the countryside.
We exist to glorify Jesus Christ by placing pastors in small towns and rural churches that might otherwise have to close. God has called us to help preserve the Gospel presence and help country churches thrive in over 220 communities across the United States and Canada.
Let's Partner Together
Will you join us in helping country churches thrive?
1. Run a Race
One fun way to support country churches is to simply join us for a virtual race! You can run, walk, or bike. You’ll get a comfy tshirt, some energizing endorphins, and a sense of accomplishment. Invite friends and family to register too! The more that run, the bigger impact we can make.
2. Give
Want to go beyond running a race, and partner with us financially? Great! We couldn’t do what we do without faithful donors like you. Whether you can give $25, $50, $100, or more per month, it all adds up and helps support and send missionary pastors to these rural communities.
3. Serve with Us
Is God calling you into full-time ministry? Whether you’re a college student exploring ministry options or someone considering a career change, we would love to discuss ministry opportunities with you to see if this just might be what God is calling you to next.
